Upcoming Courses

"I recently had an occasion to attend a seminar given by Robert Launsby, Design of Experiments, that combined many of the DOE techniques that I had been exposed to in the past plus presented some new ones. Bob did a fantastic job at combining all of them into one seminar, discussing their pro's and con's, providing numerous real world examples of their use and presenting some dynamite experiments for seminar participants to conduct. This seminar is a must for those who are still doing one variable at a time experimentation." - Peter Svendsen, Western Digital

Launsby Consulting has had a vast public seminar schedule since our inception in 1991. There are quite a few differences between our public seminars and our in house consulting courses. Some of the benefits of our public seminars are;

  • they are great for training a small number of people.....if you only have 3 or 4 engineers who you would like to get trained, a public seminar is much more cost effective than an in house consulting course.
  • since we offer courses all over the continental United States, you can plan a registration for when a seminar is in your area to cut down on your travel costs.
  • If your a small operation with only 10-20 employees, an in house consulting course would tie up a huge percentage of your work force. Instead, by sending 1 or 2 employees to a public seminar, you keep the majority of your work force free to continue filling customer orders.

    We currently offer public seminars in the following methodologies, however this list does change with the marketplace. If we don't offer a seminar on a topic currently, we may in the future;
  • Design of Experiments
  • Data Mining
  • Design of Experiments for Injection Molding
  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Black Belt Training
  • Blending Design of Experiments with Data Mining
  • Lean Design of Experiments

You can view our full public seminar calendar here.

Another option for training that can be very beneficial is E-Learning. This form of training completely cuts out travel costs, and is much more functional to your employees since it is 'self paced'. Each of our E-Learning courses come with 1 hour of free phone/email support to answer any questions you may have, and discounts are given for multiple users within the same company. If you would like more information, please click to visit our E-Learning home page.

What our clients say...

"Launsby Consulting's Experimental Design class is the most useful and best presented course I've taken in years." - Eric Diebold, Boehringer Mannheim

"I have taken two courses from Launsby Consulting and both of them have been outstanding. They are engaging speakers and wonderful teachers. In both courses, they tailored their teachings to the particular interests of the class, both in content and in level. Launsby Consulting has a broad knowledge of designed experiments applied to research, development, and manufacturing. Launsby Consulting is very entertaining and makes learning (even statistics!) fun." - J. Robin Cowdery, Ph.D, Heidelberg Digital, L.L.C.
